What can you drive?
Motor vehicles with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 3,500 kg and designed and constructed to carry no more than eight persons in addition to the driver. Motor vehicles in this category may be coupled with a trailer with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 750 kg.

Theoretical lessons
Our instructor is available to help you prepare for your driving test, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00, from 15:00 to 16:00, or from 19:00 to 20:00.
To help you take the quizzes, we have classroom sessions available every day from MONDAY to FRIDAY from 11:00 to 12:00, from 16:00 to 17:00, and on TUESDAY and THURSDAY from 18:00 to 19:00.
DSA: If you have a DSA certification, you can also participate in special lessons held for free on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
FOREIGNERS: Special additional courses are held periodically, on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, to make the quizzes easier to understand for those who have difficulty with the Italian language.

Theoretical exam
It is carried out at the Provincial Civil Motorization Office in Pisa and consists of a quiz test consisting of 30 "T" and "F" questions lasting 30 minutes, in which you can make a maximum of 3 errors.
If you have DSA certification, the test may last 10 minutes longer.

Provisional licence (foglio rosa)
The permit is issued the day after the theory test and allows you to drive vehicles in the category for which you applied for the license. It is valid for one year and allows you to take three practical tests . The practical test cannot be taken earlier than one month after the test date.

Practical lessons
Our instructors are available from MONDAY to FRIDAY from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on SATURDAY from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Practical exam
The practical test begins with a "first phase" where the examiner checks the driver's ability to prepare for safe driving, to know how to use the vehicle's various devices and to check the "levels".
Subsequently a "second phase" of maneuvers and a "third phase" of behavior in traffic.

You can choose to take the practical test with a geared or automatic car.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I ride a moped or a motorcycle with the PROVISIONAL LICENCE (foglio rosa)?
Yes, it is possible to drive mopeds and motorcycles up to 125 cc and 11 kW (MIT opinion prot. no. 25630 of 11/13/2014). It is also possible to carry passengers.
Can I practise in any car with the PROVISIONAL LICENCE (foglio rosa)?
Yes, there are no restrictions on the vehicle used for the driving practice.
With the PROVISIONAL LICENCE (foglio rosa), who is allowed to teach me outside the driving school?
A person must be present alongside you who has held a Category B driving license for at least 10 years or a higher category, and is no older than 65. For practice, the appropriate "P" badges must be displayed.
Can passengers be carried with the PROVISIONAL LICENCE (foglio rosa)?
It is strictly forbidden to carry passengers (except the instructor) during night-time driving exercises (from half an hour after sunset to half an hour before sunrise) on any road . It is always forbidden (both day and night) on motorways and on main extra-urban roads , unless the exercises are carried out in driving school vehicles. Therefore, it is only possible to carry passengers during the day, on urban and secondary extra-urban roads .
If I take the driving test with an AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, can I drive a car with a manual transmission?
No: if you take the test with an automatic transmission, the special code "78" will be added to your license and you can only drive vehicles with automatic transmissions. If you subsequently wish to drive vehicles with a manual transmission, you will need to take a special driving test on a car with a manual transmission. Conversely, if you obtain a license with a manual transmission, you can also drive vehicles with an automatic transmission. We offer the test with automatic transmissions .

How long do I have to keep the "P" sticker?
From the moment the driving licence is obtained, the "P" sticker can be removed.
