🚗 Car, truck, camper van or motorcycle
This applies to all vehicles registered in the Public Automobile Registry and the Civil Motorization Office . The transfer of ownership takes place in real time at our agency, with the seller and buyer present (or the buyer authorized by proxy).
What you need
- Circulation Certificate (Cdc) or Single Document (DU)
- Paper Certificate of Ownership (Cdp)document issued by the PRA until 04/10/2015
- Seller's ID
- Seller's residence permitIf a non-EU citizen
- Buyer's Electronic Identity Cardor other document along with the tax code
- Buyer's residence permit (if non-EU citizen)If the residence permit has expired, please submit a receipt for the renewal request.
- Chamber of Commerce certificate and identity document of the legal representative, if the owner is a company
Lost documents? If you don't have your Certificate of Ownership, Vehicle Registration Certificate, or Single Document, you'll need a loss report . Bring it to us along with the rest: the process can still be completed.

🛵 Moped
For mopeds, the documents vary depending on whether the license plate has already been suspended or not.
The moped has already been suspended from circulation.

🚚 Trailer up to 3500 kg
For light trailers, the process is simpler: all you need is the buyer's documents and those of the vehicle.

🚜 Agricultural Machine
For agricultural machinery, the purchaser's and vehicle's documents are sufficient. The vehicle registration certificate will then be issued by the Civil Motorization Office.
