To allow us to organise our days, driving lessons can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 8:00 PM the day before the lesson.

Lessons cancelled after this time, or missed without notice, are charged at โ‚ฌ25.00 per hour. It is not a penalty for its own sake: that hour stays blocked in the instructor's diary and cannot be given to another student.

๐Ÿ’ถ Payments

  • Lessons are paid for at the end of each driving lesson, or every 2 hours of driving.
  • Refresher driving lessons (for those who already have a licence) are paid for individually at the end of the lesson.
  • Before the driving test, all driving lessons taken must be paid for and the exam fee must be paid.

Everything under control from the student portal. You can check your payment status at any time and make payments directly online, without visiting the office.

๐Ÿ“‹ Certified driving lessons for the category B licence

The Ministerial Decree of 20.04.2012 , in reference to art. 122 paragraph 5-bis of the Highway Code , makes certain driving exercises at a driving school mandatory before being able to book the practical test for a category B license.

  • ๐ŸŒ™ Module A ยท 2 hours Driving in night vision conditions Driving on narrow and wide urban streets, with and without vehicles parked on the sides, at intersections regulated by vertical signs and traffic lights.
  • ๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ Module B ยท 2 hours Driving on urban main roads or secondary extra-urban roads Driving on urban main roads or secondary extra-urban roads, using the vehicle and engine at maximum torque, consuming and polluting as little as possible.
  • ๐Ÿš€ Module C ยท 2 hours Driving on motorways or main extra-urban roads Driving on motorways, main or secondary extra-urban roads, exceeding a speed of 50 km/h, using 5th gear and adjusting the gears to the speed.

Total: 6 certified hours

โš ๏ธ It's important to know thatโ€ฆ

The introduction of this rule has convinced many that six hours are enough to learn to drive and pass the practical exam. Unfortunately, things aren't that simple.

The compulsory driving lessons, in fact, don't cover some fundamental aspects of training. First and foremost: vehicle familiarity and the initial approach to driving for those starting from scratch. For that alone, an hour is often not enough.

Let's look at how the 6 hours are distributed

  • 4 hours take place outside the city, on the motorway or main extra-urban roadsThat is, outside the areas where the driving test will be held and which require a certain familiarity with the vehicle
  • The remaining 2 hours are at nightThey can be done in the exam area, but they are unlikely to be enough to learn how to manage traffic, intersections, and unexpected city events.

Then there's a practical aspect: in the spring and summer, nighttime drives require a bit of sacrifice from everyone, because they have to be done at unusual times, after dinner.

Why are they called "certified"?

Rather than being mandatory, these lessons should be called " certified ": at the end of each one, the instructor and student sign a certificate that reports their names, date, time, vehicle number plate and the module completed (A, B or C).

Signing means taking on a responsibility.

By signing, the student, along with the instructor, assumes the criminal liability provided by law in the event of false certifications. It is therefore important to know what you are signing and that the form really matches the lesson actually driven: a false certification can lead to the revocation of the licence if it comes to light during a check by the police or by the Motor Vehicle Department (Motorizzazione).

How we work

We really do give all the certified driving lessons, every one of them, all year round: extra-urban roads to get used to higher speeds, night lessons after dinner in the summer months. Every certification you sign corresponds to an hour you have actually spent at the wheel.

Our advice, whichever driving school you choose: before signing, always read what the form says and check that the date, time and type of route match the lesson you have just had. It's your protection.

๐Ÿš™ Certified driving lessons for Accompanied Driving

For Accompanied Driving , the training path is broader and divided into five modules.

  • ๐Ÿ”‘ Module A ยท 1 hour Use of the vehicle Starting, using the clutch, using the steering wheel, braking, engaging and disengaging gears, reversing.
  • ๐Ÿšฆ Module B ยท 3 hours Traffic behavior Position on the road, right and left turns, driving on narrow roads, starting uphill with and without the handbrake, behaviour at intersections, checking for right of way, assessing the safety distance, parking and U-turns.
  • ๐ŸŒ™ Module C ยท 2 hours Driving in night vision conditions Driving on narrow and wide urban streets, with and without vehicles parked on the sides, at intersections regulated by vertical signs and traffic lights.
  • ๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ Module D ยท 2 hours Driving on extra-urban roads Driving on main roads or secondary extra-urban roads at speeds exceeding 50 km/h, engaging 5th gear and adjusting the gears to the speed, using the vehicle and engine at maximum torque.
  • ๐Ÿš€ Module E ยท 2 hours Driving on motorways or extra-urban roads Entering the acceleration lane, entering, driving in the lane, overtaking at least once in the passing lane, driving in the deceleration lane, and exiting.

Total: 10 certified hours
